A journey of compassion, dedication, and hope since 2002
The journey of TPG Orphanage began in December 2002, when the vision to create a safe nurturing home for orphaned and vulnerable children was first placed in the heart of founder, Mr. Olusegun Ogungbe. Inspired by compassion and a deep sense of purpose, he began the initial steps towards establishing the orphanage in February 2003.
After years of planning, preparation and unwavering commitment, the home opened its doors on 1 December 2008. Shortly after, on 19 December 2008, the Ministry of Welfare granted approval for the admission of orphaned children — marking the true beginning of our mission in action.
TPG Orphanage was created to provide the essential needs of life — food, shelter, clothing, healthcare and education — to children who have been orphaned or left without adequate support.
Our home is named Adedapo Omolabake House, a heartfelt tribute to the founder’s late parents (Mr Gabriel Adedapo Ogungbe and Mrs Albertina Adeola Omolabake Ogungbe) whose legacy of love and generosity continues to inspire our work.
